Electrical industry
Hydrogenated rosin glyceride and natural gum gum, wax, vinyl acetate, etc. are heated and melted together, and then mixed with spices, granulated sugar and coloring, etc., gum can be made. When slaughtering pigs, cattle, and sheep in a slaughterhouse, the hair left on the animal's body and head can be removed by a dehairing agent consisting of 88-94% fused rosin and 6-12% cottonseed oil after being operated with a dehairing machine.
Building materials industry
Rosin is mainly used in the building materials industry as a concrete foaming agent and a floor tile binder. Rosin is also used as a binder for vinyl chloride asbestos tiles. Rosin and linseed oil, calcium carbate, charcoal, pigment, etc. can be mixed together to make carpet tiles.
